Today we started framing walls on the West end of the building. They got all the outside 2x6 walls and started on the walls next to the show room and safe. If we all do a"no snow dance" maybe we can keep the ball rolling tomorrow.

Brian Tidwell decided to pour the last of the floors and the vault ceiling today. Even though He is in the HBA Home Show this weekend and has not finished his booth. The threat of bad weather tomorrow made it a smart choice. Thanks Brian!! Brad and I consolidated lumber and covered it in the event the weather men do get it right this time.

It was a foggy start this morning but the men from Tidwell Concrete poured the firing line floor over the hot water pipes. This will help shooters on the firing line to keep their feet warm on those cold days. Plans are to pour the showroom floor Monday. Meek Lumber delivered lumber today so Brian Dancey can start framing on the east end of the building on Monday. Brad plans to start the retainer wall on the northeast corner on Monday also. Me, I'm headed to Las Vegas for the Shot Show. I'll be there all week so Brad can take pictures and I'll post when I get back on Friday.

Today Brian Tidwell and crew prepaired for concrete in the south bay by coating it with hot water and covering with blankets. Brad and I put up signs. So if you're out and about look for our signs.

While Brian and the boys worked in the cold clearing snow out of the gun range, I was at Sign Pro getting signs for the East and West end of the building, and my truck. Great job guys. Guess I'll have to watch how I drive from now on. Brian's plan is to bathe the ground with HOT water tomorrow and cover it up with blankets in hopes of pouring concrete on Wednesday (good plan). Brad and I will install the signs tomorrow.

A little less snow

Went to St Petersburg Fl. to visit my Grandaughter Elise and Kristin and Jason over New Years. Left Brad in town to deal with the snow and cold. The weather was not your typical Florida, warm and sunny, but it was a little better than we had in Mo.
